Catholic Theological Union’s annual Blessed Are the Peacemakers Trustee Dinner is a celebration to support the education and formation of men and women preparing for a ministerial life of service. Each year, an institution or individual(s) whose accomplishments and commitments reflect the values of the mission of Catholic Theological Union, particularly in the areas of reconciliation, justice, and peacemaking, is honored.

CTU is a Roman Catholic graduate school of theology and ministry educating vowed religious and lay women and men for a variety of ministries and careers. For 50 years, CTU has been a leader, locally and internationally, in furthering interreligious dialogue and collaboration. Through its Catholic-Jewish Studies and Catholic-Muslim Studies programs, CTU encourages mutual respect, understanding, and friendship among the Abrahamic faith traditions. Students from over 35 nations currently attend CTU that has special programs for training ministers for the Hispanic, African-American and Asian Catholic communities.
