Clare McKeown

Clare joined PJH & Associates, Inc. in September 2022 as our Logistics Assistant. Clare was born and raised in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood and after graduating from Mother McAuley High School she studied Marketing at the University of Dayton in Ohio.

Clare has spent a large portion of her career working with several different Chicago based nonprofit trade associations, specifically in their Meeting and Events Departments. During her time at these organizations, she was part of the coordination and execution of multiday conferences, trade shows, educational programs, along with smaller board meetings and networking events. Her experience planning and working on the logistics for these different events has helped shape her effective communication style, strong organizational skills and her creative approach to problem solving.

Clare loves all things Chicago, but the local music scene holds a special place in her heart.  When not working you can find her at one of Chicago’s many independent venues enjoying live music with friends.

Fun Facts

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?  To have the ability to speak and understand any language.

What was your first concert? Technically Poi Dog Pondering at age three. The first concert I remember was Avril Lavigne at the United Center. It was a surprise 10th birthday gift from my parents. My mom made everyone matching tie dye shirts with ironed on graphics from Microsoft Clip Art. They had cartoon drum sets and electric guitars and text that read “10 Rocks!”

Cubs or Sox? My loyalty lies with the White Sox. My first job was at Comiskey. I sold programs and score cards at Gate 5 and then switched over to the Dip n Dots stand behind home plate. I was 16 years old at the time and my slogan was “Buy a program send me to college!”
