Shirley Ryan AbilityLab
As we hold in our hearts the suffering of humanity from the continuing pandemic, and we honor the many heroes across the planet who support our health, essential services and safety, we want you to know that we are doing everything possible to protect our fragile patients and our Shirley Ryan AbilityLab family. Under these extraordinary circumstances, we are compelled to cancel our most significant, and largest, annual fundraising event, Spark! 2020, which was to have been held on May 28th.
We invite you to peek inside Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and feel our inspiration, fortitude and adaptability. Please click the link below to view the video and find out ways you can support.
As you know, we are a nonprofit, yet we remain uniquely able to help adults and children with the most severe, complex injuries and conditions achieve their best outcomes. We also treat patients regardless of their ability to pay. Please help us advance ability in patients like these:
- A teen who sustained a traumatic brain injury in a car accident
- A Soldier who lost both legs while on Active Duty
- The millions struggling with Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy or multiple sclerosis
- The hundreds of millions facing sudden loss of function due to stroke, cancer or
spinal cord injury
All of these people (and their loved ones) are hoping for even better treatments and ultimately cures.
We need you!
