WELCOME TO TRIBUTE TO ACHIEVEMENT 2023!
A wonderful program bursting with heartfelt stories of resiliency and strength awaits you tonight! During our time together, these moments will affirm why providing safe spaces and exceptional experiences for all girls is vital.
With your support, we are creating brighter and more equitable futures for girls. Research shows that girls' experiences in Girl Scouts help them develop the skills they need to navigate life's unpredictable challenges. Expectations of perfection, high achievement, and fierce competition weigh heavy on young women who feel unbelievable pressure and stress on a daily basis. Girl Scouts can help.
Our programming, made possible by the generosity of great friends like you, provides girls with the skills and tools they need to overcome these challenges. We invite you to hear our girls' stories about how they are not only surviving but thriving as Girl Scouts.
This year's Tribute to Achievement also celebrates three extraordinary honorees whose support has changed girls' lives for the better. Jodi Bahl, Global Risk Management Deputy Leader at EY, will be presented with the Girl Scout's Own Award; our Corporate Award will be presented to McDermott Will & Emery LLP; and Carole Brown, Head of Asset Management Group for The PNC Financial Services Group, will be honored with The Luminary Award.
Together, we will help girls from every community embrace their opportunities to be Resilient. Ready. Strong.
