Like everyone, we at Merit School of Music have been closely following the rapidly changing news of the risks associated with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Considering the latest information from Governor Pritzker mandating that all events with greater than 50 people be cancelled based on recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), we must cancel our Gala scheduled for May 5. However, please stay tuned for details on our Virtual Gala where you will have online access to some amazing musical performances by our students.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued commitment to Merit.
We hope that you will consider your donation to the Gala as a fully-tax deductible straight contribution to Merit. Gala donations represent the largest funding source for our scholarship program, which benefits 75% of our students, helping to transform lives through access to a high-quality music education.
